Spring is here again and we have had unusually glorious temperatures for this time of year. The early heat bring early germination and the opportunity of an early harvest; it also brings more work with grass growing quickly and the need to keep on top of general maintenance.
So last weekend was about getting more seeds into the pots and getting a few of the more mature plants out of the greenhouse and into the ground as well as a general tidy up of the shed.
I have also had some Rocket on the go. I was expecting to have some lettuce too but I have not had much luck with the seed this year.
I also managed to clear some beds and get some onions in the ground but my greatest enemy (cats) have returned to dig up some of my onion sets!
So, a mixed start to spring. Abnormally warm with a seed lottery; I wonder if the rest of the year will be the same.
