For the last two years, covid-19 has spread worldwide and continues to spread in the form of new variants. In England, restrictions have been removed after multiple lockdowns and legal implications for breaching rules. Luckily, the vaccination programme is protecting most people from severe illness and hospitalisation, and the NHS is mainly impacted by staff shortages and the result of delayed treatment

After two years, I finally saw two lines on my lateral flow test. It wasn’t a surprise; other family members had covid, and it was only a matter of time before I came down with it. Covid got me partway through filming for my March YouTube video and as I was starting to sow the first seeds of the year. The illness affects people differently; we had three different experiences with different symptoms in my household. My symptoms felt like a very, very bad cold, and I have been left with fatigue as I have never experienced before. Safe to say, I have not been able to finish filming or been inclined to write on my blog.

I am now on the road to recovery and starting to write and film again, so I hope to return to my planned upload schedule soon. I hope everyone is well, and if you are ill with covid or another illness, I wish you a speedy recovery.
