Is it spring yet?

on

Looking outside today one could believe it is late November. The sun hasn’t managed to get through the mist since Saturday and temperatures haven’t push much past 10 degrees Celsius (50 degrees Fahrenheit) for most of the week.

This has not been good news for my seeds which, for the most part, need temperatures to be at least 5 degrees Celsius warmer. I have a small heated bed which has been great for my first crop of iceberg lettuce but I can’t fit everything on it.

The forecast is good for this weekend so I hope it’s a sign of things to come. We desperately need some warm weather to help get things moving not to mention give a much needed motivational boost.

    Gads!
It is 70 degrees here. I wish spring had been a bit slower. Blooms are finishing fast.
